BROADCASTER DAZN has launched 10 new channels that will enable millions of households to watch “a huge range of sport for free”.
The offering forms part of the streamer’s free-to-air (FTA) proposition, which it believes is key to becoming the top go-to destination for sports fans.
DAZN is bringing two knock-out boxing channels that will air 24/7, designed to complement DAZN’s portfolio of 150 fights broadcast each year.
“Through DAZN’s free tier, fans will be able to access a huge range of sport for free, including even more of the best combat sport,” Shay Segev, DAZN Group CEO, said in a statement.
“Leveraging DAZN’s worldwide reach and market-leading technology, these channels will unlock the best sports action in new ways.”
The reason the channels are free is because they are ad-supported.
They will be stream-able over Wi-Fi on the DAZN app.
The DAZN app is available on Amazon Fire TVs and Fire Sticks, most smart TVs, as well as iOS and Android phones and tablets.

“Our aim is to become the go-to sports destination platform for all fans worldwide which includes delivering the best proposition for every user,” added Segev.
“The addition of Matchroom Boxing and Boxing TV underscore DAZN as the Global Home of Boxing and Combat Sports and ensure we are creating more touchpoints with more sports fans than ever before.”
