FlingGolf, which originated in the US about 10 years ago, is played on traditional golf courses, but replaces the conventional set of clubs with a single, versatile stick that is similar to a lacrosse stick. The head of the Fling Stick is used to pick up the ball from the ground, carry it, and then launch it toward the target. Players ‘fling’ the golf ball instead of swinging, and use the straight face of the stick for putting.
