England’s issue is they have got to look after themselves. Do England have the players to hurt any team in the competition? Yes, they do. Have they shown that? Absolutely not.
But the way I look at it is they are due a performance in this tournament. It has to come, it has to click at some point.
It’ll be really interesting to see if there are changes to personnel. Gareth [Southgate] isn’t one who takes risks.
I think Cole Palmer, with the cameos we’ve seen from him this tournament, he deserves a starting place on Saturday [against Switzerland].
