A host of local businesses have again come forward to sponsor one of the most popular events in the district’s calendar – Lichfield Proms in Beacon Park.
This spectacular evening of music and fireworks, which will take place on Saturday 7 September, is celebrating its 25th year and is again expected to attract as many as 15,000 people all eager to enjoy their picnics in the twilight.
The Proms is a free event but this is only made possible each year through the generous support of business sponsors.
This year our thanks go to Platinum sponsors Zest Education, Gold sponsors BHB Architects and Strongs Plastic Products, Silver sponsors Rotary Club of Lichfield St Chad and Lichfield Chamber of Trade and Commerce and Bronze sponsors Adcocks Solicitors, Keelys Solicitors and Beacon Street Garage. Thanks also to Lichfield City Council for supporting the event with a grant.
Scott Barker, Managing Director of Zest Education, said:
“At Zest Education, we pride ourselves on being personable, honest, and professional. Our commitment to these core values extends beyond the classroom and into the communities we serve. Sponsoring Proms in the Park makes us unbelievably proud and we believe that events like this play a crucial role in bringing people together, providing an event that makes Lichfield such a wonderful place to live and work.
“We invite everyone to join us at Proms in the Park for an evening of exceptional music, camaraderie, and celebration to ensure that the 25th anniversary is the best one so far.”
Adrian Mathias, Managing Director of BHB Architects, said:
“BHB Architects are pleased to be supporting Lichfield Proms again this year – as a Lichfield practice, who have undertaken various projects in Beacon Park, we are keen to help promote this brilliant evening which we enjoy as an office each year,”
A spokesperson for Lichfield District Council said:
“Lichfield Proms in Beacon Park is just one of the events that makes the district such a great place to live in and so attractive to visitors. The wonderful music and atmosphere see thousands of people return for it year after year.
“We wish to thank all the sponsors who are supporting this year’s concert and would be delighted to hear from any other businesses that would like to join in. It’s a great opportunity for businesses to raise their profile and promote their services before a huge local audience.”
Sponsorship opportunities are available for this year’s event with packages offering VIP seating, parking, compere announcements and on-screen promotion on the evening itself, inclusion in the Proms programme and promotion online.
The Proms programme is a glossy, A5, full colour publication containing song lyrics for the event and is sold on the night for £1. Businesses can also advertise in it from just £100.
