SHOPPERS CAN SAVE ALMOST £900 IN SIX MONTHS BY SWITCHING FROM WAITROSE TO ALDI

• The latest research from consumer group Which? has revealed that Aldi is the UK’s cheapest supermarket for July 
• Aldi remains the cheapest supermarket in the UK to do your weekly shop, with shoppers saving a huge £33.11 versus Waitrose
• Shoppers save up to £34 per week on average by shopping at Aldi vs Waitrose- that’s £884 saved in the first six months of 2024

Research[1] shows that shoppers could have saved £884 by switching from Waitrose to Aldi this year, enough to take a family of four on holiday to Center Parcs!

Leading consumer group Which? has confirmed that Aldi was the UK’s cheapest supermarket for July. The nation’s favourite supermarket is a huge £33.11 cheaper than the most expensive supermarket, Waitrose.

Those who thought they might be getting a good deal when they use their Nectar or Clubcard are still better off shopping at Aldi — even when loyalty cards are used.

Consumer group Which? included loyalty prices in its monthly Cheapest Supermarket price comparison, looking at the cost of groceries and household essentials. The results showed Sainsbury’s to be £15.94 more expensive, while Tesco was £13.63 dearer, when using loyalty prices, solidifying the message that the only place to get Aldi prices is at Aldi.
