When it comes to going on holiday something that we like to do is relax on a beach with a book.

But how often do you find that the beach is not so great? Whether it is a pebble beach, overflown with tourists or litter, there is always something which is a put-off.

However, a list published by The Telegraph has found the best beaches in the world.

The team split the beaches into 10 different categories, including views, wildlife and swimming. Overall there are 50 beaches in total.

There is something for everyone on the list with four of them even in the UK. Let’s take a look at the results more in detail.
