An incredible new theme park in a European country is soon going to open its gates to the public with 50 new rides and attractions. Hossoland, in Poland, may take on other larger parks such as Energylandia and Disneyland with its extensive rides.

It was first announced in 2017, with fairytale and historical themes. The park will feature four themed areas spread across 400,000 square meters: Mermaid City, the Kingdom of Baltambrya, the Land of the Vikings, and Dragon Valley of the Mines.

These areas will boast 50 rides and attractions, including a massive steel rollercoaster called GhostRider, which will reach speeds of up to 72 mph.

Visitors will enter through a large shipwreck, and images suggest a water attraction will be placed right at the entrance, though more details are yet to be revealed.

Additionally, there will be 20 food and drink venues. Although originally set to open this year, the launch has been postponed to June 2025.

Karen Hovsepyan, vice president of the park’s operator Hosso Group, told Planet Attractions: “Hossoland will be the only amusement park of such a large scale on the Polish coast.

“It will certainly become a recognisable symbol and a frequently visited place in this region.”

The most convenient way for Brits to reach the park is by flying to Szczecin, with Ryanair offering flights from Liverpool and London starting at £14.99.

The park is about an hour’s drive from Szczecin and just 30 minutes from the Baltic Coast, home to several popular seaside resorts.

Until the new park opens, visitors can explore Energylandia, another theme park in Poland.

Opened in 2014, it’s the largest in Europe, boasting 125 rides, including Europe’s biggest wooden rollercoasters and a 7D cinema.
