TikTok Shop launches For You Days livestream promotion in the UK

TikTok Shop has launched ‘For You Days’ in the UK, calling it a “huge in-platform sale event offering exclusive discounts across thousands of trending products”.

Running on the social media platform until 30 September, it introduces a “whole new sale experience on TikTok Shop”, allowing access to a series of Live shopping sessions.

The overall event features exclusive offers across fashion, beauty and home with Tic Tok noting that “shopping in real-time through livestreams is soaring in the UK”, giving shoppers the opportunity to “see products in action and immediately make a purchase without leaving the app”.

Brands will be running Live selling events across the week, with sessions lasting up to 16 hours offering exclusive discounts, product launches and freebies. 

These include beauty brand Made by Mitchell, hosting a 10-hour live session on 26 September, wellness and beauty business Free Soul with a 12-hour Live session, while sportswear retailer Sweaty Betty will be offering 20% off all orders made through the platform.

Jan Wilk, head of Operations, TikTok Shop UK said: “[This is a] new one-of-a-kind sales event where our community can shop from their favourite brands at great prices in an entertaining way.

“Live shopping is a totally unique experience that lets people see products in action and hear directly from brands and creators during their purchase.”
