With over 16 years of industry experience, the company is led by Annika Sanderson and Rob Illidge. One of the primary challenges Vulse faced early on was securing API access from LinkedIn. It took 18 months to build a relationship with Microsoft to gain the highest level of API access required to smash through the industry ceiling.
Technical hurdles related to LinkedIn’s API, alongside initial funding challenges, tested the company’s start-up journey. These obstacles helped shape Vulse’s defensible and innovative employee advocacy platform, designed to amplify LinkedIn content creation for businesses and individuals.
