Man visits ‘one of world’s most beautiful beaches’ – but locals mock him

Must read

We all love to travel, especially when the destination is a warm and sunny one.

Nowadays with TikTok and Instagram, you’ll find many influencers like to share opinions on their latest travel.

One Instagram influencer recently visited “one of the most beautiful coves” in Spain – but it didn’t land well with his fans online.

Christian Delgado Fernández previously took a trip to Ibiza where he made a reel of his entire experience which showed him visit Cala Saladeta.

In his video, he said: “It is located on the wonderful island of Ibiza. It is accessed via a path and is known for its fine sand, crystal clear waters and for being surrounded by pure vegetation.”

And of course, Christian, who shared it with his 417,000 Instagram followers, showed the idyllic beaches where the water is “incredible”.

He snorkelled before showcasing one of the cliffs which overlooked the coast. The traveller described it as one of the most beautiful beaches in Spain.

However, many people on his platform didn’t waste time in coming at him with some negativity after claims he’s part of the reason why it’s flooded with loads of people.

One wrote: “Don’t expect it to be empty!” While another resident said: “Thanks to videos like this one, we Ibizans don’t enjoy the summer. Thanks to people like this, the magical essence of our island disappears.”

Several residents from the island even went as far as accusing the influencer of being completely unaware of the location’s reality.

Someone said: “But what jobs if there is a shortage of staff everywhere? It seems to me that you are poorly informed,” to which Christian replied he knows it well after working some summers.

Meanwhile another posted: “The fact that you have worked here for a few summers doesn’t make you aware of the reality we are living.

“The island is in chaos between lack of housing, lack of staff and tourist saturation. I’m not against your post, it’s the reality.”

But it wasn’t all negativity as a follower gushed: “I went in September and it was dope.”

And a second chimed in: “Was there in April in the morning, almost alone, heaven.” While a third added: “My favourite.”
