Big Brother spoilers for the latest episode follow.
Tonight’s (October 10) Big Brother saw the housemates take on their first shopping task of the season as it opened its Coconut Eye Land Resort – a holiday resort with a twist.
Six housemates were chosen to act as staff with Dean leading the team as resort manager alongside housemates Lily, Khaled, Sarah, Marcello and Hannah.
The remaining housemates got to enjoy “the holiday of a lifetime” with five guests (Dean. Ali, Thomas, Martha, Baked Potato aka Rosie and Segun) receiving an all-inclusive wristband.

To pass the shopping task staff were tasked with remaining polite at all times and no team could eat food that was made for different ranks.
Ryan, who was a half-board guest, ate an all-inclusive sausage, incurring a fail. “I was hungry, I needed a sausage,” he told the group, while Sarah became increasingly agitated with Ryan’s behaviour.
Later, Ryan egged Lily on to eat a sausage and she managed to sneak one away from the buffet after Ryan distracted the group by taking his second sausage – but will Ryan’s behaviour have cost them?
Meanwhile, Hannah had to solicit a complaint from one of the guests as part of the task, which she achieved after making Ryan a bad cup of coffee.

At the end of the episode, Ryan took to the Diary Room to discuss the day’s events, saying: “I enjoyed causing a bit of mischief with the sausages and it’s just a bit of fun isn’t it? As long as I don’t hurt anybody.
“I didn’t want to upset anybody, I just spoke to Sarah after and made sure she was alright because I know people were getting a bit angry but there’s a lot of mischief going on,” he continued.
“It’s alright now, but if we fail the shopping budget ‘boom’ fingers on me and if there’s any punishment I will take one for the team because it’s me that caused it.”
“If the luxury budget fails I will be an easy target, so yeah I’ve not really played it well have I Big Brother?”
Big Brother will return on ITV2 and ITVX on Sunday (October 6), followed each night by Big Brother: Late & Live.
