A new wave of retail and leisure outlets are preparing to open at Solihull’s renowned Touchwood Shopping Centre. This development is set to rejuvenate the shopping destination, drawing in visitors with a diverse range of offerings that include culinary delights, fashion novelties, and unique leisure experiences.

Among the new entrants are Wing Kingz, House of Tweed, Yankee Candle, and Indico Street Kitchen, set to launch in the coming weeks. Wing Kingz, scheduled for a November 16 opening, is a restaurant and bar that will offer patrons chicken wings, fries, and burgers, alongside live sport broadcasts. This will be the fourth UK location for the brand, which already operates in Coventry. House of Tweed, launching on November 1, promises an array of luxury handbags, clothing, and accessories crafted from bespoke tweed fabrics.

Additionally, Yankee Candle plans to begin operations in mid-November, occupying the space vacated by Costa Coffee. They will offer a variety of scented candles, catering to the sensory preferences of shoppers. The Costa Coffee chain is not leaving a gap, however, as it will make a comeback on November 7 with an expanded, two-floor establishment, further enhancing the centre’s coffee culture.

Indico Street Kitchen, an Indian restaurant brand, is also poised to join these brands, although its exact opening date remains unannounced. The addition of varied culinary and retail options is anticipated to meet the growing demands of shoppers by providing diverse and enriched experiences within the centre.

Touchwood’s General Manager, Tony Elvin, expressed enthusiasm about these upcoming openings. He stated, “We are thrilled to be welcoming Wing Kingz, House of Tweed, Yankee Candle, and Indico Street Kitchen to Touchwood this autumn.” Elvin added that these openings are part of an ongoing effort to diversify and update the centre’s offerings, noting that the recent agreements have increased tenant occupancy to 99 percent.

These new introductions mark a significant step in Touchwood Centre’s strategy to enhance its retail and dining offerings, ensuring a vibrant customer experience.
