As we’ve finally come to terms with the fact that our summer dresses, skirts, shirts have officially gone, and the coats are out – meaning autumn is officially here. And seeing as November starts this weekend, that can only mean one thing – Black Friday is on the way.

Get ready for the sales period everyone has been waiting for, as Black Friday is just around the corner – and it’s the perfect time to get ahead on your Christmas shopping or finally purchase that expensive item that’s been on your wishlist all year long.

With unbeatable deals and discounts, this is your chance to snag amazing bargains and make the most of the festive season. Mark your calendars for Friday, November 29 2024, and get ready to shop ’til you drop.

Now traditionally the sales extravaganza of Black Friday happens every year on the fourth Friday of November, right after Thanksgiving in the United States, and it’s become a ‘pre-Christmas’ shopping experience for us in the UK.

Black Friday Landing Pages To Save Now

With just a few weeks to go until November 29, some stores and big-name brands have already launched their landing pages – or deals ahead of time. Here’s where you can shop and save now!

  • Boots – shop 1,000s of offers now
  • Dyson – save up to £150 on devices
  • Argos – appliance, tech and toy offers are on the way
  • Amazon – Black Friday deals will be arriving soon
  • Shark – be the first to know when the Black Friday deals land
  • Currys – expect the lowest price ever on items
  • Ninja – be the first to know when the Black Friday deals land
  • John Lewis – discounts of up to 50% off on selected items

These days, it’s not just the Friday where bargain hunters can find a bargain or two, but it actually spans over an entire weekend – or a whole month if you’re a larger retailer like Amazon, and into ‘Cyber Monday’.

Unlike global retailer Amazon, and its famous Prime Day sales, a vast number of other retailers get involved – and you can expect to find brands like Dyson, Apple, Ninja, Shark, Boots, John Lewis, Selfridges and Nintendo all taking part – as well as ASOS, Mango, Sephora, LookFantastic and even Pretty Little Thing, who have thrown a £1 sale in previous years.

Basically, if you want to be organised for once in your life and get your Christmas shopping done and dusted ahead of December 23, this is your chance to do so – and with a mega saving whilst you’re at it.

You can expect to find fashion, beauty, technology like TVs and laptops discounted, mattresses, American Fridge Freezers to store all your epic ‘pickings in’, skincare devices like LED masks, air fryers, alcohol for your New Years Eve party and so much more.

As we’ve mentioned before, you don’t always have to wait until November 29 for the main event to begin, as we saw in 2023, deals started to trickle through from the month before.

In fact, Boots and Currys have already gone live with their Black Friday sale – with more deals expected to drop throughout the month.

Amazon, Argos, and John Lewis started dropping deals from the end of October, and big-name brands like Ninja, Shark, Very, Boots, ghd and Dyson all started in mid-November too.

Our shopping experts will be covering the event and writing up all the deals you need to know about, so stay tuned as to what you can expect.
