Must read

Wyre Forest and South Worcestershire Nightstop and Mediation Service is inviting community members to join their Festive Afternoon Tea and Christmas Shopping event on Thursday, December 5.

The event will take place from 2pm until 4pm at St George’s Church in Kidderminster and is set to combine festive treats, entertainment and shopping with a meaningful purpose by raising funds to support local young people facing homelessness.

Coralie Hudson, fundraiser for Nightstop, said: “We are so looking forward to welcoming guests along for our festive afternoon.

“What better way to get in the Christmas spirit with friends, family or colleagues than with a lovely festive feast and the chance to browse for unique gifts in a warm and friendly atmosphere all while doing so much good to support those most in need.”

Guests are invited to enjoy a delightful afternoon filled with festive cheer, delicious treats and an optional glass of fizz all included in the ticket price of £15.

Entertainment will be provided by Grace Notes Choir while visitors browse a variety of stalls offering unique gifts and festive goods from Wildjac, aromatherapy from Neals Yard Remedies, cupcakes, crystals, local arts and crafts and more.

It is perfect for getting into the Christmas spirit and finding presents for loved ones.

Every ticket purchased helps Wyre Forest and South Worcestershire Nightstop and Mediation Service provide safe accommodation and support for local youths in crisis.

Guests will contribute to the charity’s mission of preventing youth homelessness and empowering young people to achieve their full potential in their community.

The charity promises a memorable outing with friends and family with visitors urged to book in advance as tickets are limited.

Bookings must be made by Friday, November 29.
