The PicklePad was founded by Karen Smith and Tania Smeda, two sports enthusiasts who created Smeda Sports.
The new court was built to accommodate both sports with professional-grade courts, premium equipment, and a friendly atmosphere.
The upcoming sports centre is set to revolutionise the fast-growing sports, Padel and Pickleball across the UK.
Karen said: “We have been running Smeda Pickleball in the area for over 3 years and have brought together an amazing community.
“We wanted to create more than just a sports venue, we wanted to create a space where all our current members and new members can come and share their passion for both sports.”
Tania added: “Our goal is to grow the Pickleball and Padel communities in the UK, and The PicklePad is the perfect starting point. It’s thrilling to see people of all ages and backgrounds discovering these sports for the first time.
“Whether you’re an avid player or a complete beginner, The PicklePad welcomes you to be part of a growing movement.”
A date for the opening of the PicklePad is set to be announced.
Members can expect amenities such as a large social space as well as tournaments, events, and professional coaching.
The PicklePad will be opening in Unit 1 and 2 Priory Industrial Estate, Christchurch.
