Best shops for Christmas shopping in Blackburn
While some locals said they would avoid shopping in Blackburn because there are “no decent shops anymore”, some were keen to share where they like to go.
One local suggested Waterstones but admitted that “if you’re not a reader” or the person you’re buying for isn’t, you might struggle to get anything out of there.
With that being said, the bookshop also sells board games, stationery and gifts as well as books.
Another local commented on our Facebook post, sharing a variety of shops, ideal for those buying clothes, gifts, food and more: “M&S, Peter Jackson, River Island, Next, H&M, Pandora, B&M, Primark, Waterstones.”
They added that Blackburn “could do with some more shops though”.
For those looking for “coats and woolly hats”, one local suggested Outdoor Action Ltd.
Another said they like to shop at Darwen Market while someone else said: “I like the gift stall in the corner of the market”.
Marks and Spencer also featured in the comment section of our social media post while another suggested buying women’s clothes from Boutique by Vee.
