School uniform supplier Monkhouse will open at 18 North Walk – located next door to the British Heart Foundation charity shop.
It comes as the brand has recently closed its shop in Stoke Gifford.
Meanwhile, fragrance brand Loris Parfum will open at 1 North Walk – located next door to Natwest bank.
Both businesses are hoping to open early next week, according to officials.
Monkhouse operations director west, Phil Nicholls: “We were originally in Yate so it is great to be returning to the town.
“For those not already familiar with us, Monkhouse is one of the leading school wear and accessories suppliers in the West, stocking outfits for all ages and all the schools in the area.”
Loris Parfums shop director Mehmet Dasdemir said: “We will be stocking Loris’ extensive range of fragrances for women and men along with auxiliary household products, all of which are already well known worldwide and developed in our laboratories near Istanbul in Turkey.
“Plenty of options for those late Christmas presents and stocking fillers!”
Shopping centre manager Andrew Lowrey said: “These are two great new signings bringing additional scope to the centre’s offer just in time for Christmas.
“Parents will now be able to buy school uniforms and accessories locally for all local schools through the Monkhouse chain while Loris Parfums offers its own wide range of fragrances.
“This demonstrates the attraction and strength of Yate Shopping Centre as a retail hub, reducing the number of vacant units to just 6 out of 105, five of which are currently in legals, across the centre and the adjoining Riverside, a figure well below the national average.
“The new shops will bring an added buzz to the centre’s pre-Christmas festivities, not forgetting that Santa’s Grotto is still open until 1pm on Christmas Eve, an ideal environment for that late gift shopping and to keep the family entertained!”
