LAPIN-COLIN: ROUND 9
There seems little prospect of a stoppage despite Lappin increasingly landing with his right hooks. Colin seems content to see the final bell now – and he only has three minutes left to do so.
REMATCH WILL BE BETTER THAN ORIGINAL – LEWIS
LAPIN-COLIN: ROUND 8
Lapin lands a short right early on in the round which clearly stings Colin and for a moment it looked like the Frenchman might have been in trouble as Lapin followed up with a couple of more clean shots. Colin regained his composure in the second half of the round.
LAPIN-COLIN: ROUND 7
Rinse and repeat. The song remains the same. Colin trying to bob and weave to get into range and throw shots but not getting close.
LAPIN-COLIN: ROUND 6
Colin touches down briefly in the early part of the round and a count starts but the referee waves it off saying it was due to a slip. Otherwise it was more of the same with Colin not skillful enough to disturb Lapin’s rhythm.
LAPIN-COLIN: ROUND 5
It is easy to envisage Lapin fighting for a title soon, he uses his physical advantage to his benefit and is so quick countering lunging shots. He lacks power but looks a very hard man to tag and has a good engine.
HAYE ON REASON FOR FURY WEIGHT GAIN
LAPIN-COLIN: ROUND 4
Unsurprisingly, bruising has emerged on Colin’s left cheek. A right hook in the last few seconds forces Colin backwards.
LAPIN-COLIN: ROUND 3
It is going to be hard for Colin to alter the trajectory of this fight which is looking similar to the last contest, albeit Lapin is fighting at a better pace and with crisper shots.
LAPIN-COLIN: ROUND 2
Most of the round follows a similar course, but Colin in the last minute had a moment of success getting inside his rangey opponent and landing a right hook on his opponent. Doing this consistently is far easier said than done and soon after he is again on the receiving end of a right-left combination.
LAPIN-COLIN: ROUND 1
Fighters with similar records where an O has to go. You would imagine Lapin would be the higher skilled and he gets through with a strong one-two in the opening seconds to show this. He looks very sharp and Colin is having difficulty moving out of range of Lapin’s powerful left hand.
LAPIN UP NEXT…
The 6’6″ southpaw light-heavyweight Daniel Lapin (10-0, 4 KOs) takes on unbeaten Frenchman Dylan Colin (14-0, 4 KOs) in a ten-rounder.

NOVYTSKYI WINS ON POINTS!
Novytskyi takes the fight 100-90 on two cards and 98-92 on the third. He remains WBC International Heavyweight Champion but will have to improve in 2025 if he is to be a serious contender for a world title.
NOVYTSKYI-RAMIREZ: ROUND 10
The final round followed a similar pattern to the rest of the contest. It’s fair to say we hope the action will be a bit more stimulating going forward.
NOVYTSKYI-RAMIREZ: ROUND 9
If Ramirez had a bit more condition he may have been able to force a tougher end of the fight but as it is Novytskyi is landing increasingly with the Mexican unable to hold his guard as highly.
NOVYTSKYI-RAMIREZ: ROUND 8
A better round from Novytskyi as he finishes with some powerful straight shots with each hand.
NOVYTSKYI-RAMIREZ: ROUND 7
It is slowly warming up but by the time it comes to boil the fight could be finished. Three rounds to go and Ramirez likely needs a stoppage.
NOVYTSKYI-RAMIREZ: ROUND 6
Ramirez getting closer with his big hooks but it seems to be sparking Novytskyi into a bit of life, countering with straight shots of his own.
NOVYTSKYI-RAMIREZ: ROUND 5
Ramirez landing a few shots in close now. Novytskyi a little lackadaiscial and having a lot of his jabs blocked, I think the Mexican may have nicked that round.
NOVYTSKYI-RAMIREZ: ROUND 4
He is still losing the rounds but Ramirez is growing in confidence looking to throw hooks in close. When Novytskyi lands his right to the body you can see Ramirez looking to counter with a left hook.
NOVYTSKYI-RAMIREZ: ROUND 3
There is a possibility Novytskyi could get a little careless in here. His jab has lost its snap, just pawing trying to set up his right hand. Whether Ramirez has the power to hurt him if he lands flush is another matter.
NOVYTSKYI-RAMIREZ: ROUND 2
Novytskyi very comfortable at the pace of the fight and the distance the fight is being fought at. Ramirez is attempting the odd tyro but has not been near to landing upstairs yet. The Ukrainian is also looking to land straight rights to Ramirez’s body.
NOVYTSKYI-RAMIREZ: ROUND 1
The Ukrainian controlling the fight with his jab, midway through the round he landed a flush right hand which to be fair Ramirez took well.

WARREN: TYSON WILL DO BUSINESS IN 8 ROUNDS
Tyson Fury’s promoter is certain his man will not need the judges this evening.
“I think Tyson will get the job done,” Warren said on TNT Sports.
“I genuinely don’t think it will go the distance. I think Tyson will get the job done in eight rounds.”
FRAMPTON THEORY ABOUT FURY SHOWBOATING
As always the two-time world champ from Ulster has an interesting take.
“He has to stop the showboating,” Frampton said.
“I have a theory about the showboating. I think it was because after the cut eye he wasn’t able to do his usual sparring – and that’s how he gets his conditioning – so he did the showboating so much to slow the pace down.
