Consultancy firms increasingly need to demonstrate their social value to meet public sector tender requirements and customer expectations. Following a sustained campaign to prove its own worth in that respect, Airwalk Reply has received a Silver award for social value in technology.

Founded in 2009, Airwalk Reply is a global consultancy for modern cloud technology adoption and integration. From offices in London, Manchester, Sheffield, and Edinburgh, the firm works with clients with complex technical and organisational challenges to achieve the required business outcomes through delivery leadership and technology expertise. Earlier in 2024, the firm was acknowledged as a leading workplace for employees in the UK.

Now, the firm has been commended for its impact beyond its own office walls. The consultancy has been awarded a prestigious Silver Quality Mark by Social Value Quality Mark CIC, which recognises Airwalk Reply’s commitment to values-led business that benefits its people, customers, communities and the planet.

Richard Dickins, managing director of Social Value Quality Mark CIC, said, “We are delighted to award Airwalk Reply with Silver and commend them, particularly on their proactive approach to community engagement and volunteering. This is a time when tech companies will need to increasingly demonstrate value to be successful in the public sector. The award is a testament to Airwalk Reply’s tangible impact within its supply chains, teams and wider society.”

Social Value Quality Mark CIC is a registered Community Interest Company. It exists to create a fairer society and drive income towards organisations that operate in the interests of society. According to the organisation, firms which work with it raise the overall business standards in the UK to become more ethical, sustainable and community focused.

Factors behind Airwalk Reply obtaining the Silver rating include creating an estimated £2.7 million in social value during 2023. This included delivering 74 hours annually supporting the elderly through Octavia Foundation and providing 36 hours annually supporting employee mental health via Airwalk Allies; supporting more than 20 underprivileged young people with a 10-hour leadership curriculum, career insight day, and over 100 hours of mentoring via the Airwalk Reply Academy; and donating ten chess sets to St. Barnabas Primary School, raising £1,000 for Bluebell Children’s Hospice, and donating 50 tech items to Computers4Charity.

Airwalk Reply Partner Alex Hammond added, “We are incredibly proud of what we’ve achieved with our social value and CSR initiatives – they are intrinsic to who we are as a company and a group. So, to have this recognised is fantastic and a testament to the awesome people we have.”
