Prime Day beauty deals
To shake it up a little bit, I’m bringing you some of the best early Prime Day deals on beauty products, courtesy of our beauty writer Lucy, who’s all clued up on the latest beauty drops.
Colour Wow dreamcoat spray: Was £27, now £19.95, Amazon.co.uk
Reduced by 26 per cent, now’s the time to snap up )what I’m told is) Colour Wow’s viral dream coat spray. When beauty writer Lucy tested the cult buy, she said the formula “did a stellar job of keeping my hair straight and adding some serious gloss.” Working through heat-activation, the product adds extra moisture and gloss to locks, giving dull hair a new lease of life.

What actually is Prime Day?
Prime Day is a 48-hour sales event designed to celebrate Amazon Prime and its customers. It all started on Amazon’s 20th birthday on 15 July 2015 – so Prime Day has been going for almost 10 years now. You can read more about Prime Day, including more of the best early deals in my article below:

Prime Day iPad deals
There should be better iPad deals dropping next week on Prime Day itself, but I’ve already spotted a tiny (but good) deal on the latest 10th-generation iPad if you’re feeling a little… impatient. Apple deals are rare at the best of times.
Apple iPad 10th-generation, 2022: Was £349, now £319.99, Amazon.co.uk
With a small discount of £30, the 2022 iPad is currently cheaper than it’s ever been at Amazon. “The new design, faster processor, better and bigger display are easily worth the price, and the new iPad is a real rival to the iPad Air, which usually costs £170 more,” The Independent’s tech critic said in his review. “This is the best tablet under £500 from any manufacturer, in my opinion.”

Prime Day robot vacuum deals
One of my favourite inventions (genuinely) is the nifty robot vacuum cleaner. While they used to cost a small fortune a few years ago, they’re now more affordable than ever (and are still just as good). Eufy makes some of my favourite suckers on the market, and this one is currently discounted by almost 40 per cent.
Eufy robovac X8 robot vacuum cleaner: Was £342.99, now £209, Amazon.co.uk
This tried and tested model from eufy currently has more than 40 per cent off at Amazon. When reviewing the vacuum our tester said that they “found the app and mapping function of the eufy’s among the best on the market. It’s fast and accurate; you can set no-go zones and spot-cleaning areas, too.”
The team are rounding up more of the best vacuum deals, including cordless models and robotic models below:

Amazon’s just launched a new Echo Spot and it’s already on sale
Amazon actually just released a new smart alarm clock earlier this week, and it’s already discounted for Prime Day.
Amazon Echo Spot smart alarm clock: Was £79.99, now £49.99, Amazon.co.uk
Launched earlier this week, the all-new Amazon Echo Spot is an Alexa-enabled smart alarm clock that features a 2.83in gradual light-up screen that shows the time, weather and music playing, but also flashes up neat animations in response to certain phrases. You can also choose your own clock face and tap the device to snooze your alarm, and adjust playback as songs are playing. It’s currently 38 per cent off in celebration of Prime Day.
I’ve got a detailed write-up of the launch below if you want to read more about its features and the history of the device.

Save a huge 42 per cent on this Amazon Fire TV
Amazon Fire TV 50in omni QLED series 4K TV: Was £649.99, now £379.99, Amazon.co.uk
For vibrant, clear and crisp pictures, you can’t go wrong with the Amazon Fire TV, which now has 42 per cent off the original price. Thanks to QLED technology, you can expect all your favourite movies and shows to be leaping off the screen, with vivid lifelike colours. You can also have it set to pose as a work of art, with the Ambient experience helping it to blend into your interior aesthetics. It supports all your favourite streaming services, has Dolby Atmos for surround sound and has built-in Alexa.
I’ve seen this one in action myself and it is a beauty. It’s also great having a Fire TV OS built into the TV, as well as Alexa support.
