We’ve all been there. You’ve nipped into your local supermarket to pick up a few things and of course, ended up checking out with more than you planned on. But, rather than have to pay for *another* plastic shopping bag – come on now, we’re all about sustainable shopping practices here – you’d rather juggle everything in your arms and stash whatever you can wherever there’s space on your person. A block of cheese in the back pocket of your jeans? Sure. An actual baguette, poking out of your Fendi baguette bag? We can dream…
Well, it turns out supermodels are just like us. (We knew it!) At least, if Amelia Gray‘s Instagram story is anything to go by. We were seriously surprised when she posted a snap that revealed the contents of her Miu Miu tote bag to her followers. Rather than the usual phone, keys and lipstick contents, Amelia was instead carrying around a brand new box of Kellog’s Cornflakes.
Amelia wrote over the top of the picture, “Incase you were wondering.” With a brown paper bag (you know, the kind you get from organic supermarkets) just glimpsed in the corner of the shot, we can only conclude she’d had to resort to her designer arm candy to tote her wares home.
However, the Miu Miu bag she was wearing was very different to the petite shoulder bag she was seen posing with earlier in the day. She took to TikTok to mime along to a Charli XCX clip, giving a look at her outfit in the process that consisted of an asymmetric one-shoulder knotted black top, beige shorts, a black studded leather belt and black buckle biker boots.
As an ambassador for the Italian fashion house, it’s no surprise Amelia has multiple Miu Miu bags in her arsenal so maybe the oversized tote is actually her designated food shopping bag? Now that really is the dream! Perhaps she’s not that much like us after all…
