A NEW award ceremony celebrating the contribution small businesses make to Bromsgrove’s economy and community is being launched by the town’s MP
Bradley Thomas MP is set to hold his inaugural Small Business Awards and is urging firms across Bromsgrove to submit nominations which will be voted on by residents.
The awards will see residents vote for their favourite local small business in Bromsgrove in the build up to Small Business Saturday (November 30).
From Tuesday (October 1) small businesses across the constituency can put themselves forward for the public vote.
Bradley will then reveal the winners ahead of Small Business Saturday on November 30.
Bradley said: “Small businesses aren’t just the backbone of our economy, they’re also at the heart of their communities.
“It’s my intention as the local MP to champion our small businesses, and as part of that work I have launched my inaugural Small Business Awards.
“I’m encouraging small businesses across Bromsgrove and the Villages to put themselves forward for the public vote to be in with a chance of winning a Small Business Award.
“I’m looking forward to receiving your nominations and to celebrating our small businesses.”
