British heritage brand Antler cuts price of Ryanair-approved cabin bag

Must read

British travel brand Antler has launched a summer sale just in time for holidaymakers wanting to save money on quality luggage. Some eagle-eyed shoppers have spotted a Ryanair-approved cabin bag with £50 off.

The hardshell Clifton Cabin Bag, measuring 20 x 40 x 55cm, has 30% off in the sale and shoppers can buy it for £119 instead of £170 on Antler’s website. If you are hopping over to a mini break in Europe, the luggage fits perfectly in the overhead compartment in airlines like Ryanair and easyJet.

The polycarbonate suitcase is strong enough to protect your tech essentials but also light. Weighing 2.8kg, the luggage is hand-finished with meticulous care and colour-fast, ensuring any scratches will stay true to the colour of the shell.

Shoppers don’t have to spend extra on locks as it comes with a TSA-approved combination lock to keep your belongings safe and secure. The ergonomically designed twist grip handle and the whisper-quiet spinner wheels help you to whizz through the airport with ease.

It might look tiny from the outside, but the Clifton case can hold a capacity of 37 litres. One customer said: “There’s much more space than you’d think due to the design. I comfortably managed to pack for a 5-day business trip with space to spare.”

Another liked the inside pockets and zips and said they are “very useful when packing with loose items”.  A third purchased both the Clifton check-in luggage and cabin bag, saying: “Antler have delivered durability and style along with practicality for travel, you can easily fit four days’ worth of clothing and two pairs of shoes in here and still have room for toiletries, it really is a game changer.

“But the durability is what takes it to the top, thrown in coaches by drivers, scraped and bumped in airports, sliding around overhead compartments and it still looks sleek and stylish, with no damage to your personal belongings and no lasting damage on the case, this has already been with me on one holiday and it’ll doubtless travel with me again!”

The Clifton cabin bag and other Antler luggage come with a lifetime warranty for all manufacturing faults including defective workmanship or materials, so remember to keep your proof of purchase. One customer took a star off the review and commented: “Expensive compared with other similar products such as luggage.”

To maximise the space of the Clifton cabin bag, you can use compression cubes when packing. Amazon’s Eono Compression Cubes are easy to use when you have to pack outfits for a week-long trip, at £23.99 for a set of three.

For below £100 options, you can go for Antler’s Logo Cabin Bag in amber colour, which has been reduced to £96, or American  Tourister’s Pulsonic 4-Wheel 55cm Expandable Cabin Case, £76.30.
