CAMRA Seeks New Business Partnerships | The British Guild of Beer Writers

Must read

The Campaign for Real Ale (CAMRA) is looking for exciting new partnership opportunities with companies, businesses and commercial ventures.

Business Development Manager, Steve Mann (pictured above) is aiming to increase CAMRA’s commercial revenues to support the consumer group’s main campaigning activities.

Steve’s role forms a key part of CAMRA’s overall strategy to develop partnerships across not only the pub, social club, brewing and cider making industries, but crucially across the wider commercial landscape.

With over 145,000 members and 180 local beer festivals across the UK, serving hundreds of thousands of consumers, there are plenty of opportunities for CAMRA to liaise with and work alongside businesses and service providers that support and interact with the beer and pub trades, as well as the lifestyles and activities of festivalgoers who attend CAMRA events.

CAMRA books are also a fantastic opportunity for sponsorship, advertising your brand within our publications. The Campaign’s publishing arm is fast becoming a powerhouse in the industry, releasing numerous award-winning titles over the years including Desi Pubs by David Jesudason and CASK by Des de Moor, which won the gold and silver prize respectively in the Best Book about Beer or Pubs category in the British Guild of Beer Writers awards. The Campaign’s annual Good Beer Guide – the UK’s best-selling beer and pub guide – is celebrating its 52nd edition this year.

Steve said: “I am enthusiastic to get started and explore exciting new possibilities for CAMRA. All the great work that the Campaign does for pubs, pints and people is amazing and I am looking forward to being able to build many further successful partnerships, from both within CAMRA’s core industries and also with partners that deliver services to the trade and to our volunteers and members, that will enhance the Campaign’s reputation on a wider scale.”

If your company, business or commercial venture is interested in exploring the range of partnership opportunities that CAMRA can offer, please contact Steve on 07949 729596, email steve.mann@camra.org.uk or connect via LinkedIn.
