Sportsbikeshop will be moving into the shop in Ber Street as it continues to expand its brand around the UK.
With roughly £350,000 being invested into the renovation of the site the firm plans to open its doors to customers early next year.
Matthew Chamberlain, operations director at Sportsbikeshop, said: “Norwich has always been on our radar and a location we wanted to be in.
“It’s a well-known biking area too and the actual building is great because we can spread things out over two-floors which is a first for us.
“We got the space in October and are currently stripping the whole unit down to give it a new lease of life.
“All is going well and we’re hoping to open around late January or early February.”
The Lincolnshire-based firm started online 12 years ago from a spare bedroom and has since become one of the country’s leading motorcycle clothing and accessory retailers.
There are currently nine branches in Bristol, Glasgow, Reading, Milton Keynes, Leeds, Harlow, Birmingham and Boston, where its main warehouse is based.

The company also has an online store with more than 100,000 products which are sourced from official UK distributors.
Mr Chamberlain added that despite only being a few doors down from rival motorbike clothing shop, Infinity, their new shop will help, rather than hinder.

He said: “We love the guys there and have a good relationship with them so we hope us being here will benefit both shops in the long-run.
“This will be our tenth shop and we’ve got signage going up next week.
“I’m a keen motorcyclist myself so I’m really excited to be representing the city.”
