Colorado woman mysteriously disappears after she left to go holiday shopping at popular mall

A Colorado woman went missing after telling her family she was going shopping days before Thanksgiving.

Jayna Lang, 46, of Littleton, texted her brother she was headed to the Outlets at Silverthorne in Summit County on November 24.

That was the last time anyone has heard from her.

‘She was supposed to be going to Silverthorne to look at the factory shops on Sunday,’ her brother Eric Horvat told Denver7.

‘Her job called us and said she didn’t show up on Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, and now nobody has heard from her, talked to her or anything.’

Horvat said this is especially concerning because it is unlike Lang to not contact her family members.

He said: ‘My aunt and her talk every single day. Me and her, every couple days. So, for my aunt not to hear from her, it’s very, very suspicious.’

It is unclear if she actually made the mountainous drive to the outlets.

Lang’s family and the Park County Sheriff’s Office have asked for help locating her 016 White-4-Runner SUV with a customized Colorado license plate reading ‘JAYNA’.

According to the sheriff’s office, Lang often visited Park County, particularly the Indian Mountain subdivision.

The office shared a Facebook statement on Thursday, asking anyone with information on Lang’s whereabouts to share it.

Her brother described Lang as an athletic outdoors lover who ‘loves going to the mountains.’ She works at a Littleton pet grooming business.

‘Never, never did we ever think that she would be gone,’ Horvat said.

Horvat speculated that her car may be off the side of the road and told Denver7 someone told his family they may have seen Lang’s car while driving from Breckenridge to Keystone on Wednesday night.

‘That’s the only thing we’ve heard,’ he disappointedly told the news outlet.

‘We miss her,’ Horvat said while urging her to give his family a call to ‘let us know you’re okay.’

Lang’s disappearance comes as police continue their hunt for Hannah Kobayashi, a woman from Hawaii who went missing on November 8.

The 31-year-old aspiring photographer vanished in downtown Los Angeles after missing her connecting flight to New York, where she was headed from Maui.

It is unknown why Kobayashi left the LAX airport at all, but she texted her friend that she had a ‘spiritual awakening’ and was spotted with a man on November 11.

Kobayashi’s father Ryan killed himself after tirelessly searching for his daughter.

Wisconsin police have been searching for Jacob Baer, 7, after he went missing from a park on Saturday.

Two Rivers police found items that may belong to Jacob in the icy West Twin River on Sunday.

The specific items have not been disclosed and police have not said if the child fell into the water.
