Heavy congestion is being felt on Britain’s motorways this morning as the nation begins another working week.
The M26 westbound is reporting severe congestion with delays of up to 30 minutes against expected traffic between junction J2A and the M25.
These delays have also spilled over into the M25 itself, which is facing delays between of around 10 minutes between junctions J29 and J30.
A broken down vehicle on the A34 northbound has caused lanes to be closed between the junctions with the M4 and the A4185, with normal traffic not expected to resume until around 7:45.
Meanwhile, a road traffic collision on the M1 northbound has caused lanes to close at junction J15, with normal service believed to resume at around 8am.
