Dakota Johnson made her first official Fashion Week appearance of the SS25 season earlier today, and naturally, it was on the front row at the Gucci show in Milan.
The 34-year-old actor has been an ambassador of the Italian luxury fashion house for a good few years now, recently starred in a campaign for Gucci‘s iconic Jackie bag, and regularly wears the brand for high-profile events. It felt fitting, then, that Johnson be one of the stars of Gucci’s SS25 show – albeit on the red carpet outside, as opposed to on the runway.

The actor arrived at the Triennale di Milano in a chic black and white look designed by Gucci’s creative director Sabato De Sarno, that was equal parts sultry and stylish – a combination that, by now, can be classed as her signature.
Having, quite literally, laid bare her penchant for the ‘underwear as outerwear’ trend of late – think back to earlier this month when Johnson wore three lingerie-inspired, see-through bra dresses in a row – the star stayed true to form for the show in a white, flower-embroidered dress that was sheer enough to expose her high-waisted briefs beneath, and also featured a built-in bra up top.
Johnson completed the look with an oversized black leather jacket, patent slingback heels, a classic mini Jackie bag, and as ever, wore her hair in loose waves and opted for natural make-up.
If this is any indication of the types of clothes that Gucci will be sending down the runway, we have no doubt it’s going to be one hell of a stylish show.
