When it comes to travelling sometimes a staycation is the best. Not only do you save travelling to and from the airport, avoid delays and save a fortune from forking out parking but the UK is pretty special.
Now one English village is regularly featured as one of the best in the world. It has a rich history and is picturesque thanks to its stone houses and nature walks.
The village itself borders Gloucestershire, Berkshire, Dorset to the south and Somerset so you can expect to be surrounded by plenty of beauty.
So, where is it we hear you ask? Castle Combe in Wiltshire is not only stunning but has also been featured in several films, including The Wolf Man, Stardust and War Horse. Let’s not forget that it was used in the original Dr Doolittle film.
