The draw has opened up in a favourable way for the Three Lions but a tricky test awaits them next.
Who do England play next?
England’s first place group finish meant they avoided potential last-16 games against Germany or Portugal.
The Three Lions will instead face Slovakia, who are ranked 45th in the world, at 5pm BST on Sunday in Gelsenkirchen.
Netherlands had been set to be England’s next opponents after they finished third in Group D after losing to Austria in their final pool game.
However, Georgia’s remarkable 2-0 win over Portugal saw them go through from Group F and reshuffle the third-place standings, leaving England with Slovakia.
Francesco Calzona’s side ended third in Group E, just pipping Ukraine to the qualifying spot.

Who could England play in the quarter-finals?
Should England advance to the quarter-finals, Switzerland or Euro 2020 winners Italy will await.
Italy, of course, beat England on penalties at Wembley in the final of the last tournament.
The quarter-final would take place on Saturday, July 6, in Dusseldorf at 5pm BST.
Who could England play in the semi-final?
If England make it into the final four, they will face Romania, Netherlands, Austria or Turkey.
That game would take place in Dortmund on Wednesday, July 10 at 8pm BST.
The Euro 2024 final will then be held in Berlin on Sunday, July 14.
