Former Hereford United/FC player Joel Edwards has left Hellenic Premier League side Westfields to sign for Welsh Premier League side Cardiff Met for a 2nd time.
Edwards was originally a professional at Hereford United from 2009-2010 and then rejoined the club during the 2013/2014 season.
When Hereford United was liquidated in 2014, Hereford FC would later be born from the ashes, and Edwards would be the captain for the first two seasons of the phoenix club’s existence and he led the club to back to back promotions from the Midland League and Southern League South West.
