A grinning Richard Keys has flaunted the progress of his hair transplant journey.
The former Sky Sports presenter took his retreating mop to the British Hair Clinic in Essex in July in a last-ditch bid to restore his hairline.
At the time Keys played into the irony of his hair restoration as he dubbed himself the ‘once-hairiest man on TV’.
It was wildly claimed that he had undergone laser surgery to remove excess hair from his hands and arms while at Sky, before he and co-host Andy Gray left in 2011 after allegations of sexism.
Now he is on a mission to restore volume to his coiffure and the clinic has shared a pleasing update of his progression.
In just five months, Keys, 67, has restored a generous package of hair, though there is further growth to come.

He starred in a video about his treatment journey, which was shared by the clinic via TikTok
‘Richard came in to our Essex clinic back in July and his new hair line is starting to take shape. We will keep you updated on the progression,’ the clinic promised.
The British Hair Clinic was recommended to Keys by ex-Liverpool midfielder Jason McAteer and talkSPORT commentator Sam Matterface.
Over the summer, a video at the clini begins with Keys sporting a dressing covering the back of his head and saying: ‘The once-hairiest man on TV has done a little bit today to restore his reputation.’
Later on he adds: ‘I’m laughing because I’ve heard the joke.
‘What an irony that someone who spent his lifetime trying to remove hair finds himself in the British Hair Clinic looking for them to add hair. I mean, you couldn’t make it up really.
‘But here we are, at the direction of Jason McAteer, who’s been through this process and looks well for it – at least that’s what he told me – and Sam Matterface, a very good friend of mine who I worked with at talkSPORT for a while.
‘Sam, I spoke to this morning, and he said: “Brilliant, easy, you’ll love it.”‘
Towards the end of the video, Keys is shown looking in the mirror after having ink drawn on his scalp. ‘So that’s the new hairline,’ he says. ‘That’s where the new hairline will be.’
Keys is currently working for beIN SPORTS as the Qatari broadcaster’s senior football anchor.
