A MANHUNT is underway for a man who punched a woman off her scooter, stole it, and sped away.
He was spotted “pushing shopping trolley full of cleaning supplies” before the assault took place.
Derbyshire police are now appealing for information after the woman was attacked and her scooter was stolen in Derby city centre.
She was approached by a man pushing a trolley full of cleaning products on Sunday 24 November at 1.20pm on Traffic Street who went on to assault her.
He punched her and made a getaway on her scooter in the direction of Siddals road.
A Derbyshire police spokesman said: “The man was described as white, with short blonde hair and a beard.
“He was wearing a brown jacket and jeans.”
Cops have urged anyone who saw the man with the shopping trolley to contact them using the reference number 24*699987.
