A New York-based YouTuber left fans stunned after he flew from the US to London for a pot of chocolate-covered strawberries.

Tyshon Lawrence is an American model, influencer and comedy content creator, who has racked up more than 19million followers under the @tyshonlawrence on the video-sharing app TikTok. The 26-year-old shares a variety of content online – from travel to lifestyle but is widely recognised for his sense of humour.

However, a recent clip he posted left fans stunned as he claimed he took 7-hour flight to London to try some viral street food that he’d seen on social media. In a video, which has gained more than 580,000 likes, he was seen standing in a hotel room with his bags after checking in.

“You’re probably like ‘Tyshon, You did not go all the way to London to try some chocolate-covered strawberries.’ B***h, we just landed,” he said, but told fans not to judge him as he was heading straight out to find them.

He headed straight to Borough Market in Southwark to find the vendor named Turnips among their famous street food traders and after one free sample, he decided the treat was worth it’s £8 pricetag.

He continued: “That man knew what he was doing when he gave me that free sample. Okay, so it’s £8. It’s £8 for the strawberries. $10 for this? Yeah, it better be good.”

But he had to hurry up and dig in as the chocolate had started to harden and he wanted to try it while it was still beautifully melted. He returned to the camera when the pot was almost melted and declared: “The chocolate here is better than America.”

“The chocolate just melts in your mouth,” he added. “The strawberries were just fresh. It’s getting a nine from me. A nine out of ten. Most definitely.”

TikTok users were left drooling over the sweet treat too as they wanted to try it for themselves. One user said: “That looks so good,” as another commented: “When I get money, there will be signs.” Someone else penned: ” This is the first time I’ve heard someone be excited to eat in the UK.”
