Participants in a photography project for women of different nationalities say showing their work gives them a sense of pride and has helped them make new friendships.
Women of the World was run by the Hive community centre in Ipswich and led by professional photographer Gillian Allard.
She worked with seven women, from Ukraine, Afghanistan and Tanzania, to explore creative ways to express their outlook of their new home town in Suffolk.
Ms Allard said: “It was for them to explore identity in a way that’s fun and playful, so they could forget about what’s going on on the outside and just enjoy their time together.”
