Olympic champion Keely Hodgkinson has won the BBC Sports Personality of the Year award.
The 800m runner, who won a gold medal in Paris in the summer, beat darts superstar Luke Littler who came second and England cricketer Joe Root who was third in the public vote.
Paralympic cyclist Dame Sarah Storey, Olympic and world triathlon champion Alex Yee, and Real Madrid star Jude Bellingham were also nominated for the award.
Hodgkinson is the fourth woman in a row to win the award after Lionesses Mary Earps and Beth Mead and tennis star Emma Raducanu.
As she collected the trophy, Hodgkinson said she was “in a bit of shock”.
