There’s the chance to support Market Harborough’s High Street at a new late night Christmas shopping event tonight.
Over 50 shops in the town centre will be staying open until 8 or 9pm, with traders at Harborough Market and The Village also joining in.
The event comes ahead of next Friday’s Christmas Fayre and has been organised by Harbs Collective.
Both independent and national retailers are taking part, with pubs and restaurants also showing supporting the night.
Jarrod Burke from Randalls Candy shop has helped organise the event and spoke to HFM:
There will live music under the Old Grammar School during tonight’s event, as a new initiative launches to get more people to busk and perform at the location.
Creative Harborough are behind it and have worked with Market Harborough and The Bowdens Charity to fund music licenses, so performers don’t have to worry about infringing copyright on any covers.
