TNT Sports host Laura Woods walked her dog in a park yesterday as she continues to prepare for her TV comeback after suffering a horror injury in a freak accident.
White plasters could be seen around the 36-year-old’s right eye as she took her pet out on the grass in London, with the scars from her accident still visible.
Woods held a Costa Coffee cup while going for the walk and was seen wearing a green coat, grey jumper, black leggings, white trainers and a £55 Ugg beanie hat.
Earlier, she was also seen dropping off her pet at a doggy day care centre wearing dark sunglasses as she continues to prepare to her return to TV screens next month.
Woods suffered cuts on her face and arms after smashing a glass lampshade with a pillow while on holiday with her boyfriend, former Love Island star Adam Collard .
She was forced to pull out of covering the boxing match between Tyson Fury and Oleksandr Usyk in Saudi Arabia last Saturday after suffering the gruesome injuries.
But she will make her return to television as part of the team presenting ITV Sport’s coverage of the Euro 2024 football tournament in Germany next month.
Describing what happened in a post on Instagram last Thursday, Woods revealed that she was lucky that the falling glass missed her eye.

She wrote: ‘Just wanted to explain my absence from the telly for a little while, to be totally transparent and avoid any speculation. I had an accident last weekend at a holiday cottage.
‘I swung a pillow and hit a large, glass lampshade hanging from the ceiling above me, which shattered and cut my face and arms, but luckily missed my eye.’
Woods thanked her boyfriend Collard for ‘being my hero that day, acting so quickly and not leaving my side since and to his family for taking care of me in a time when I was petrified’.
She also praised her agents Alex McGuire and Matthew O’Donohoe at Creative Artists Agency who ‘searched for the best help immediately’.
And she thanked plastic surgeon Dr Yannis Alexandrides and his ‘wonderful medical assistant’ Zuzana Pavlovska at 111 Harley St in London.
She said they ‘opened their emergency surgery and came in on their days off;, adding: ‘They were so gentle and have already worked magic that I didn’t think was possible to reduce the damage.’

Posting three photographs of her injuries, Woods also wrote: ‘I’ve added in the photos from then to now to show that even though it may look rough, it’s such a wonderful improvement already and I’m so grateful.
‘It was a hell of a shock and I’ve been a bit sad, but I’m feeling very lucky it wasn’t worse. So a big thanks to my eyebrow too, for taking the brunt of it.
‘I’m gutted I can’t cover the fight in Riyadh tomorrow anymore, but wishing the brilliant TNT boxing team all the best. Be back soon xx.’
Former England and Chelsea captain John Terry responded to her post on Instagram with a prayer and heart emoji and the message: ‘Get well soon.’
Ex-Lionesses star Jill Scott added: ‘Laura, hope you’re okay! Wishing you a speedy recovery.’
Former British tennis No1 Laura Robson also sent her best wishes. ‘Hope you’re OK,’ she posted alongside a heart emoji.
Ex-Arsenal forward Theo Walcott added: ‘Wishing you a speedy recovery and hope you’re doing OK.’

Later, Collard hit back at a vile social media post, after a troll wrote: ‘Adam Collard you know what you are’.
Collard, 28, hit back and responded: ‘Shut up you stupid **** and read her Instagram post.’
Woods and Collard first went public with their relationship in October last year and have been on a series of holidays together in addition to their recent cottage stay.
They travelled to Mexico in April after also going on a group skiing holiday together in the French Alps with friends two months earlier.
