Lavazza’s UK division has posted annual revenues exceeding £100m ($132.6m) for the first time.
Lavazza Coffee (UK) Limited achieved a 10% year-on-year increase in turnover in the 12 months ending 31 December 2023 to reach £102.3m ($135.6m), according to its latest Companies House filing.
The coffee roaster’s gross profit in the UK and Ireland also increased during the period, growing 15% to £27.7m ($36.7m), with operating profit rising 6.5% to £1.4m ($1.9m).
Lavazza highlighted its flagship London outlet as key to driving brand awareness in the UK. The site, which opened in September 2021, was renovated last year to offer a more ‘immersive’ experience and now features an art exhibition, a café offering various coffee extraction methods and signature ‘coffeetail’ cocktails, alongside a food menu curated by Michelin-starred chef Federico Zanasi.
Additionally, Lavazza said high-profile sponsor partnerships with Wimbledon, Royal Ascot and Arsenal Football Club continue to build brand affinity in the UK.

Alongside its café, wholesale and retail packaged coffee channels, Lavazza also operates a growing network of self-serve coffee machines in the UK. In December 2023, the coffee roaster’s UK vending division Lavazza Professional acquired Scottish vending machine operator SV24-7 Vending for an undisclosed sum – adding to its network of KLIX & FLAVIA vending machines across the country.
In May 2024, Lavazza Professional unveiled Lavazza on the Move, a new premium self-serve coffee offer designed for high footfall public spaces in the UK. Lavazza Professional’s 2023 turnover reached £81,491 ($1m).
Turin-based Lavazza’s total group sales increased 13% last year to €3.1bn ($3.3bn).
