Man fumes after woman in front of him commits ‘selfish’ act on flight

Must read

The dream of jetting off on a much-anticipated holiday is always nice, but the journey to reach that destination can often be fraught with tension.

From enduring the lengthy drive to navigating through the endless airport queues and fretting over possible delays – travel invariably carries its share of anxiety. It’s perhaps this very stress that recently pushed one man to his limits when a fellow passenger disrupted his flight experience.

Taking to Reddit to vent his frustration, the unnamed traveller shared an image of the woman seated before him on the plane. The photo only showed her hair, but it was enough to illustrate the issue – her tresses were obstructing his in-flight entertainment screen.

Accompanying the snapshot of the troublesome locks, he lamented: “Woman kept covering my screen with her hair during a flight.”

The picture clearly shows most of his screen hidden away, likely hindering his viewing experiece.

The post quickly ignited debate across the internet, with many branding the woman’s behaviour as utterly “selfish”. Probably because she had only to shift slightly to resolve the issue that completely blocked his view.

This peculiar tale of travel woes has certainly ruffled some feathers online, eliciting a mix of indignation and humour in the comments.

One amused commenter suggested: “Start making braids, if she turns say you were bored.”

Meanwhile, another quipped: “I was going to suggest learning to tie knots. YouTube has many tutorials. And there are many strands to knot.”

On the flipside, others speculated the hair debacle might have been unintentional. Despite the inconvenience caused, some people argued a simple conversation could have easily remedied the situation.

Another person chimed in, saying: “Have you told her? People are dumb, and won’t notice people around them unless spoken to.”

A different individual added: “Speaking as a person with long hair, she must know. I always know where my hair hanging.”

Meanwhile, another person suggested: “Maybe just ask her to move her ponytail? She probably has no idea all this is going on right behind her. No violence or violent thoughts necessary.”
