Jewellery brand Missoma has opened a 2,250 sq ft flagship store in Victoria Quarter’s County Arcade in Leeds, adding to the London store it opened at 46 Monmouth Street in Covent Garden in November 2023.

The new store adds to Victoria Leeds’ existing portfolio of jewellers, including Boodles, Monica Vinader, Berry’s and Astrid & Miyu, and includes Missoma’s “most playful Piercing Studio to date” with exclusive piercing studs that visitors won’t find anywhere else.

It also features a ‘Welding Studio’, with 14ct solid gold permanent bracelets and welding charms, as well as free instant engraving for any gifts purchased in-store.

Product-wise, the new store showcases the brand’s collection of gold and silver pieces, including its popular collaborations with fashion designers and “style icons”, Harris Reed, Savi and Lucy Williams.

Constantly striving to elevate its sustainable practice and approach, Missoma’s collections are handcrafted using 100% certified recycled gold and silver, with the 14ct solid gold pieces “carefully created with conflict-free diamonds, emeralds, baroque pearls, and blue sapphires”.

Marisa Hordern, Founder and Creative Director at Missoma, said: “Community is at the heart of what we do, and Victoria Leeds offers a highly engaging environment that aligns perfectly with our values.

“We aim to inspire confidence and encourage self expression in all our customers and are excited to grow our Leeds community and embark on this next chapter.”

Rachel Bradburn, Leasing Director at Victoria Leeds, which is owned and operated by Redical, added: “Missoma selecting Victoria Leeds as the destination for its first store outside of London reinforces our reputation as a renowned destination offering opportunities for brands to confidently embark on regional growth in the UK.

“We are excited to be a part of Missoma’s journey and to welcome customers through the door to explore exceptional demi-fine jewellery.”

The opening follows the announcement that British heritage and lifestyle brand Barbour is to open the city’s first standalone store in Victoria Quarter later this month.
