Bound for this summer’s Euro 2024 finals, Scotland seek an end to their long winless streak on Monday evening, when they meet international minnows Gibraltar at Estadio Algarve.

Steve Clarke’s squad have faltered since securing back-to-back qualifications for the European Championship, while their opponents conceded some 20 goals across their final two qualifiers.

We say: Gibraltar 0-3 Scotland

In the nations’ third meeting since Gibraltar joined UEFA, Scotland will avoid embarrassment and secure a long-awaited victory to end their worrying winless run.

The Tartan Army have scored 12 goals across the two previous encounters, and they are likely to find the net multiple times in southern Portugal.

Beginning their build-up to Euro 2024, Croatia welcome North Macedonia to Rijeka for an international friendly on Monday evening.

Ultimately aiming to improve on a string of near misses, the World Cup bronze medallists start preparations for this summer’s finals in Germany with a run-out on home turf.

We say: Croatia 2-0 North Macedonia

After a busy season, both squads may lack some sharpness in their first June friendly, with either manager using Monday’s match to assess their options.

Therefore, the hosts should pick up a positive result without reaching top gear, ahead of a tougher test against Portugal next time out.

Before trying to cause a seismic shock in the Euro 2024 Group of Death, Albania seek a stress-free friendly win over minnows Liechtenstein on Monday night in Hungary.

Sylvinho’s side will compete at the continent’s premier tournament for just the second time later this summer, while their ‘visitors’ continue to assume the role of European whipping boys.

We say: Albania 4-0 Liechtenstein

Albania may have been found wanting in their opening two fixtures of the year, but Sylvinho’s Euro 2024-bound men should have no trouble putting little Liechtenstein to the sword on Monday.

Straight after putting a stop to their abysmal losing sequence, the Blue-Reds will likely revert to type as Albania replenish their morale stores at a crucial time.

In their first of two pre-Euro 2024 warm-up friendlies, England welcome Bosnia-Herzegovina to Newcastle United’s St James’ Park base on Monday evening.

While the Three Lions are ramping up their preparations for a latest bid for international stardom, the visitors to the North East will not be present at this year’s continental gathering.

We say: England 3-0 Bosnia-Herzegovina

Even though Southgate may tinker with his England team both before and during Monday’s friendly, the incentive for fringe players to stake a Euro 2024 claim is enough motivation to see off an out-of-sorts Bosnia side.

Any new manager bounce that the visitors experience under Barbarez should count for nought, as Southgate’s men get off the mark for 2024 at the third time of asking.

Germany will play the first of their two pre-Euro 2024 friendlies on Monday evening, with fellow European Championship participants Ukraine their opponents at the Max-Morlock-Stadion.

The hosts will open their tournament against Scotland on June 14, while Ukraine’s first game at the summer competition comes against Romania on June 17.

We say: Germany 2-1 Ukraine

Ukraine will be tough opponents for Germany, with the Blue and Yellows having a lot of quality all across the pitch. Germany are looking in good shape ahead of Euro 2024, though, and we are expecting them to secure a win on Monday night.
