According to Dreams’ website, the only shop operating in Cumbria is located in Carlisle at Unit 4 London Road.

Dreams Limited is a bed retailer and manufacturer specialising in beds, mattresses, bedroom furniture and bed linen.

Mike Clare opened the first shop in 1987. Since then, more than 200 stores have opened all over the country.

In May 2021, Dreams was acquired by Tempur Sealy.

They craft around 290,000 mattresses and over 200,000 divan bases and headboards a year at their factory in Oldbury, in West Midlands.

Barrow Business Improvement District told The Mail they are unaware of the retailer opening in Barrow.

The Mail has tried to contact Dreams.
