Work has begun to clear out a clothing store at a Norfolk shopping centre.
As first reported in the Eastern Daily Press, the Superdry store at the Chantry Place shopping centre in Norwich closed its doors on 8 June.
The retailer announced in January it would be exploring “cost saving initiatives” including store closures and job cuts.
In a statement Superdry said: “We evaluate the performance of each of our stores on an ongoing basis and have closed our store in Chantry Place.”
Earlier this year the retailer saw its share price fall from more than 500p to just over 5p.
Paul McCarthy, general manager at Chantry Place, said: “Superdry has left Chantry Place whilst it looks to restructure its business across the UK.
“We are already in talks with other brands to join us and recently we welcomed Mango and Flannels to the centre.”
