The visitors have never won a Test match against Pakistan, but they will be hoping to change that and make history when the series gets underway on August 21.
The second Test will be played at the same venue from August 30, with Bangladesh out for revenge after losing their two-match series against Pakistan 2-0 in 2022.
Pakistan won the first Test by eight wickets with player of the match Abid Ali hitting a superb 133 before taking the second by an innings and eight runs after Sajid Khan bowled 8/42.
The hosts have a three-Test series with England to look ahead to in October and are coming off a 3-0 defeat against Australia earlier this year.
Similarly, Bangladesh lost 2-0 against Sri Lanka in their last Test series.
