Jet2 and Jet2holidays have announced new flights to the Amalfi Coast (Salerno) Airport in Italy.

Brits will be able to fly there in the summer of 2025 from Birmingham and Manchester.

Operating from May 26 to September 29, 2025, the new routes have been launched as more and more tourists book trips to Italy’s stunning coastal region.

Customers can book package holidays with VIP customer service, airport transfers, and ATOL protection.

Also on offer is a 22kg baggage allowance for a £60 deposit per person.

Flight-only bookings allow for 10kg of luggage.

Jet2holidays has also introduced new hotels in places such as Amalfi, Positano, Ravello, and Vietri sul Mare.

Steve Heapy, CEO of Jet2 CEO Steve Heapy said: “The launch of Salerno for Summer 25 gives customers and independent travel agents fantastic access to the beautiful, iconic Amalfi Coast and we are delighted to be adding this brand-new gateway.

“As well as giving customers and independent travel agents direct access to the Amalfi Coast, we are expanding the number of Italian Airports we have on sale to nine.

“To give holidaymakers an even bigger slice of ‘La Dolce Vita’ we are also very pleased to be announcing a selection of hotels available to book now across the Amalfi Coast and surrounding region, not to mention a brand-new resort in the beautiful port city of Salerno.

“The Amalfi Coast is one of the most iconic destinations across the world, so we are very confident that these new flights and holidays will be a big hit with holidaymakers wanting to explore the pastel-painted villages and cliffs that the destination is famous for.

“We look forward to taking customers on their well-deserved holidays to the Amalfi Coast and Salerno and we know that our VIP customer service will be the perfect pairing with this iconic destination.”

The Amalfi Coast is one of Italy’s most popular destinations with five million visitors heading there every year.

Currently, tourists have to fly to Naples and then take lengthy trains to get to the remote areas.
