TK Maxx has announced the opening of a sprawling new store on Oxford Street, offering labels-for-less at a second destination in central London for savvy shoppers.
Located in Marble Arch, Oxford Street, the new branch opens its doors at 10am on Thursday 7 November – and there are plenty of treats in store for the first 200 customers.Â
The store is the discount retailer’s second location on Europe’s busiest shopping street – the other being on 203-207 Oxford Street – and will be based at 508-520 Oxford Street (corner of Oxford St/Portman St).Â
The new Marble Arch branch will feature big brand fashion, accessories, homeware and gifts at up to 60% less than the RRP all under one roof – just as Christmas approaches.Â
Spanning two floors and over 16,000 square feet, the store will create 130 new jobs for the area.Â

A spokesperson for TK Maxx said: ‘We are thrilled to open a brand-new TK Maxx store in the iconic London location of Marble Arch just in time for Christmas.Â
‘We’re confident that our valued London shoppers, and visitors to the area, will enjoy our bright and beautiful new store.’
They added: ‘We are also delighted to have created 130 new jobs for the area.’
Councillor Patrick Lilley, who represents Labour in the West End, took to X to praise proposed developments for Oxford Street, more specifically London mayor Sadiq Khan’s plans to pedestrianise the area.Â
He wrote in a post: ‘Some great brands have or are coming to Oxford Street and we have a great new big art gallery, TK Maxx and incoming IKEA. Its busy and our plan would widen the street, add seating and trees… Let’s see how this works…’Â
With over 350 stores in the UK, across high streets, shopping centres, and retail parks, TK Maxx is one of the nation’s most popular discount retailers.Â

Meanwhile, Ikea has pushed back opening its new Oxford Street store to fix the leaky basement in the building.
It is the second time the proposed store, which was previously home to Topshop’s flagship London site, has seen its opening delayed.
Ingka Investment, the investment arm of the retail group, bought the Grade II listed building at 214 Oxford Street after Topshop owner Arcadia fell into administration.
