Donald Trump may “face a JFK-style assassination” if he tries to end Russia‘s war in Ukraine, the Deputy Chairman of Russia’s Security Council has warned.
Dmitry Medvedev, who previously served as Russian president in between Putin’s stints in charge, wrote on his Telegram channel: “A tired Trump, issuing platitudes like ‘I’ll offer a deal’ and ‘I have a great relationship with…’ will also be forced to follow all the system’s rules.
“He won’t be able to stop the war. Not in a day, not in three days, not in three months.”
Critics of Trump have warned that if he once again takes the keys to the White House, he will attempt to strike a deal with the Kremlin to end the conflict, but on the terms that Kyiv won’t want to accept.
Chillingly, Medvedev referenced the 1963 assassination of John F. Kennedy in Dallas, Texas, in his social media statement about possible Trump interference in Ukraine.
“And if he really tries [to end the war in Ukraine], he could become the new JFK”, Medvedev warned.
The former Russian president and prime minister also hit out at Trump’s presidential rival, Kamala Harris.
Erring sharply towards aggression over diplomacy, Medvedev branded the former California Attorney General “stupid” and “controllable”.
He added that Moscow has “no reason to have any inflated expectations” about who wins Tuesday’s election.
“For Russia, the elections will not change anything, since the candidates’ positions fully reflect the bipartisan consensus on the need for our country to be defeated [in the war]”, he wrote.
“Kamala is stupid, inexperienced, controllable and will be afraid of everyone around her. A synod of the most important ministers and assistants will rule, plus indirectly the Obama family.”
He added: “Only one thing matters: how much money the new POTUS will knock out for someone else’s distant war – for his military-industrial complex and for the Bandera scum [Ukrainians] to cut up. Therefore, the best way to please the candidates for the highest American office on November 5 is to continue to smash the Kyiv Nazi regime.”
