Ralph Lauren has appointed Patrick Chopin as its new Managing Director for the UK and Ireland.
Chopin first joined the luxury brand as Senior Director of Planning in 2008, working his way up to Senior Vice President of Multi Channel Merchandising & Operations International in May 2019.
Prior to Ralph Lauren, he held various roles at Foot Locker in Europe, including Director of Footwear and Apparel.
In a post on LinkedIn, Chopin said: “I’m happy to share that I’m starting a new position as Managing Director at Ralph Lauren.”
The appointment comes as Christopher Conrad takes on the role of Chief Digital & Technology Officer, joining Ralph Lauren from Levis Strauss & Co, where he served as Senior Vice President and Chief Information Officer for seven years.
Earlier this year, Ralph Lauren reported a 3% rise in annual revenue, with plans to “elevate and energise” the brand to acquire new customers and drive sales.
“Looking ahead, we are staying on offense by continuing to invest in our brand, our portfolio of iconic core products and our consumer-centric ecosystems in top cities globally,” said Global President and CEO Patrice Louvet at the time.
Founded in 1967 by its eponymous director, Ralph Lauren is an American luxury fashion house famous for its iconic polo player logo. The company is known for the marketing and distribution of products in four categories: apparel, home, accessories, and fragrances.
