Rangers successfully saw off Motherwell in last weekend’s semi-final to reach the Premier Sports Cup showpiece finale next month.
Philippe Clement’s side did it the hard way after having to come back from an Andy Halliday goal for the Steelmen.
Cyriel Dessers and Nedim Bajrami did the business, though, as the Light Blues made it into the final where they will face old rivals Celtic who also won their final four tie.
Celtic beat Aberdeen 6-0 to set up a mouth-watering Old Firm final and the Scottish Professional Football League (SPFL) have moved quickly to let supporters know all the details for the coming clash.
The game will be played at Hampden Park, as were both semis, on December 15.
In what might come as an unusual kick-off time, it will be played at 3.30pm.
Rangers fans will be housed in the South, West and North stands for the action while their opponents’ support will take up the South, East and North Stands of a split.
The game, naturally, will be broadcast live on Premier Sports.
How much will Rangers vs Celtic Premier Sports Cup Final tickets cost?
SPFL Group Chief Executive Neil Doncaster said: “This season’s final promises to be another hugely exciting occasion. We look forward to welcoming both clubs back to Hampden Park and wish Celtic and Rangers the very best of luck ahead of the final.”
Tickets for Gers fans range from ÂŁ50 at the O2 section of the South Stand lower while section P sets fans back ÂŁ45 for adults.
